Melton Borough Council is commited to providing positive
activities for young people. Working with a wide number of
partners, a comprehensive programme of activities has been
developed for the 2012 Summer holiday. Please click on the

Join us in the country park to read your
favourite children’s stories, then help us find clues and
characters which are hidden around the park. Perfect for children
aged 2-5 years.
24th July 1pm—Going on a Bear hunt and

Help us find a wide and wonderful array of
objects which grow and are found in the country park. A combination
of arts, crafts and physical activity. Fun for all the family aged
10 and below.
27th July 2pm—Olympic themed
23rd Aug 1pm—Summer Hunt
Come along for 2 hours of fun, games, crafts
and multi sports coaching. We will help keep the kids out of
mischief for a couple of hours, one morning a week for the summer
holidays. One hour will be focused around fun and games, crafts and
arts, and the second will be specific sports coaching. Children
aged 5-8 years. Advanced booking required..

The New Age treasure hunt activity that is
taking the nation by storm! We will provide you with a GPS device
and co-ordinates of where ‘geocaches’ are hidden. We will also show
you how to use the machines!!
A great activity for all the family. We will
be running sessions around the borough throughout the year, so keep
your eyes peeled for more dates and times.
