Positive Activities for Young People (PAYP) funding
2012/13 - Funding for Activities for 11 to 19 year olds in Melton
Borough.
Grant application process is
now open
Funding has been delegated from Leicestershire County Council to
Melton Borough Council through the Locality Partnership Group (LPG)
- the multi-agency group representing services for young people
across the District.
This will be the ONLY round of funding for PAYP in 2012/13, so
please take into consideration that activities could take place in
all the holidays covered by this time frame.
The purpose PAYP is to increase the availability of positive
activities for young people, particularly the most vulnerable and
disadvantaged. The positive activities are provided for
young people aged 11-19 (or 25 with a learning
difficulty).
The Positive Activities for Young People grant application
process 2012/13 is open between 1st March
-30th March 2012
Melton's total 2012/13 PAYP activity allocation has been
confirmed at £16,000, to be split between successful
applicants.
