Sure Start Children’s & Community Centres
Melton has three Sure Start Children's and
Community Centres. The centres each incorporate an early
year’s education area, an enclosed outside play space, reception,
kitchen, consultation room and a community hall.
The centres offer a wide range of activities
for local communities and act as hubs to deliver services for the
whole borough. Activities are for all sections of the
community, from the under-5s to pensioners, with an aspiration that
as far as possible the activities and services will be low
cost for local residents.

you and your family at the Children's Centres, and go along with
you to your first group if you want us to.
We can provide one to one support if you think you need a little
extra help with things like behaviour management, rountines, and
the challenges that parenting can bring!
We can listen to your ideas about activities and services that
are needed at the Children's Centres and if possible, set them
