to use.
Big Lottery Fund - http://www.biglotteryfund.org.uk/
This should be your first port of call for funding advice,
downloadable toolkits, other resources, training event and course
information as well as extensive information on their own funding
streams.
Heritage Lottery Fund - http://www.hlf.org.uk/
Similar to the Big Lottery site, it offers advice, downloadable
toolkits and information on funding advice. This site is highly
recommended!
Leicestershire Funding Toolkit - http://www.fundingtoolkit.org/
The Leicestershire Funding Toolkit offers a searchable database
with a wealth of information on Government, lottery and charitable
grants.
Grantnet - http://www.grantnet.com/
This is a fantastic and free to use site for both businesses and
community groups. It provides a searchable grant database which
identifies funding for your needs.
East Midlands Funding Forum - http://www.fundingindex.co.uk/
This site offers links to individual grant funders and
categorises grants in terms of use and topic. A very user friendly
site.
Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland Community
Foundation - http://www.llrcommunityfoundation.org.uk/
The foundation offer a small amount of funding for
particular initiatives and give good advice on how to apply and
which fund to apply for. A highly recommended first stop shop for
all your (small) funding needs.
Voluntary Action Leicestershire - http://www.valonline.org.uk/
VAL offer support to community and voluntary groups operating
within the County and may be able to offer your
organisation advice on looking for funding, attracting
more volunteers or general advice on where you should take your
organisation next.
