Pride in Melton
The pride weeks are a multi-agency initiative which has
developed from the decent place to live group and involve a week of
activities in one area to engage with the community.
Activities include a clean up of the whole estate with a community
litter pick, removal of graffiti, fly tipping and identifying any
areas for physical improvement. Throughout the week the
neighbourhood has a number of family and community events and
opportunities to engage with police officers and local agencies
offering a range of advice to residents. The pride weeks take
place over the summer holidays.
