COUNCIL MEETS WITH CONSULTATION GROUP

The Council had its first meeting with members
of the public who put their names forward to be involved on the New
Build project on 6th August 2009.
Christine Marshall Corporate Director
said:
“I am delighted with the turnout we have had
for this meeting with 16 of the 26 respondents able to
attend. We brought them up to speed on where we are with the
project and invited their views on some initial topics such as a
webcam for the site and the replacement for the lions. They
raised concerns relating to the new access to the site so this is
one area where we will make sure that there is as much information
available as possible for the public.”
Those attending future regular meetings will
be arranged around the timetable for the new build project.
