COUNCIL NAMES DESIGN TEAM

Extensive interest was generated by the recent tendering process for a design team to lead on Melton Council's new offices.

The Council is pleased to announce that EC Harris in conjunction with Archial (Architects) and Hoare Lea will be taking forward this important project.

Peter Lakin, Partner, EC Harris, said "We are delighted to have been appointed to lead on this exciting project for the Council in developing their new offices."

Cllr Malise Graham MBE, Leader of the Council, said "We had an excellent response to this procurement process and are looking forward to working with EC Harris and the team."

A detailed report on the New Office Project will be considered by Policy Finance and Administration Committee on 6 July 2009.
