The activity on the Town Station site has increased as the second and last phase of demolition is being completed.

The Archaeology phase is now underway with deep trenches being inspected and samples of soil being extracted for archaeological interest.  Crushing of material is also underway that will be used by the main contractor for the base of the building.

The procurement process for the main contractor is coming to a close.  The construction process for a build of this type is extremely fast and the project is still on time and within budget. 

A start on site for the successful main contractor is expected in July 2010.
