OFF STREET PARKING ORDER
2010
The introduction of new Government legislation
on the 31st March 2008 required the Council to update
its Off Street Places Order to take account of the Traffic
Management Act 2004. Melton Borough Council’s Off Street
Parking Places Order 2009 has now been superseded by our 2010
Order.
The changes can be summarised as follows:
- to revoke The Melton Borough Council (Off Street Parking
Places) Order 2009.
- make and enact the Melton Borough Council (Off Street Parking
Places) Order 2010.
- amend the boundaries of St Mary’s Way Car Park, Melton Mowbray
and Burton Street Car Park, Melton Mowbray.
- add the Bell Centre Shopping Centre Car Park, Melton Mowbray
and Beck Mill Court Car Park, Melton Mowbray and Walford Close Car
Park No 2, Bottesford.
- abolish the Tuesday Only Tariff in all Long Stay Car
Parks.
- remove all charges in all car parks for Christmas Day only each
year.
