UPDATE ON DISPOSAL OF NOTTINGHAM ROAD

The Council wishes to provide a factual update on the current status of this project.

Ten varied (different use) offers have been received for the site and are in the process of being considered in depth.  We cannot say more because of the sensitivity in the bidding process.  A report to Members, to include proposals for the site, is aimed to be produced in June.

All bidders were made aware of the sensitive nature and public opinion surrounding the embankment and this is reflected in the bids received.
