Corporate Plan
Our Corporate Plan sets out the Council’s priorities,
goals and promises for the Borough over the period
2010-15.
The Plan helps to provide a sustained focus on what matters.
Prioritisation has taken into account national priorities, local
intelligence, partner’s priorities, community views, internal
requirements and future challenges.
The Corporate Plan was
approved by the Council in September 2009.
The previous Corporate Plan
provided for the period 2008 to 2013 but has been updated in
light of changing circumstances.
Annual Report
The Council also prepares an Annual Report
which provides a summary of the measures being taken to
deliver improvement in outcomes for local people and records
progress in delivering these outcomes. It addresses key
priorities, including progress on agreed delivery targets, and
summarises the Council’s improvement planning activities.
The Annual Report for 2009
was also approved by the Council in September 2009.

Prior to publishing a Corporate Plan and Annual Report the
Council published and annual Corporate and Best Value
