Mayor of the Borough of Melton
On Wednesday 9 May 2012, Councillor
John Illingworth was invested as the Mayor of Melton for
2012/13.
The Mayor will be supporting 3
charities this year. These are:

Rutland Air
Ambulance
· Rainbows
Hospice
· Macmillan
Nurses
Jubilee Waste Collections
There are no waste or recycling collections on Bank
Holiday Monday 4 June, but Biffa will be working on Tuesday
5 June Bank Holiday
If your usual collection is on Monday 4
June collections will be carried out the next day (Tuesday 5
June) and so on throughout the week with Friday 8
June collections carried out on Saturday 9 June.
Normal collections resume the following week
Monday 11 June.
