Dog Warden Service

The Dog Warden patrols the District on a daily basis during the week and operates flexible hours so that they can patrol at times when dogs are liable to be exercised. Stray dogs are picked up and persons who allow their dogs to foul and do not remove the deposit are liable to be prosecuted. In addition, the Dog Wardens seek to educate dog owners and promote responsible dog ownership.

Out of Hours Service:

This service is available for found stray dogs between the following hours:

Monday to Friday                                                    17:00 – 22:00 hours

Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays                        09:00 – 22:00 hours
