Registration

All food businesses must register with the local authority within which they are based.  In the case of mobile food trailers this is where the unit is parked overnight and may not necessarily be the same area in which it is actually used.

It is an offence to fail to register with the appropriate local authority or to fail to give 28 days notice. 

Registration is free and you can download the registration form here or contact us to arrange for one to be sent out.  Once we are in receipt of your form we will arrange to carry out an initial visit.

Licensing

If you are wishing to sell hot food or hot drink between the hours of 11pm and 5am then you will also need to apply for a Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003.
