How to apply for a Private Hire Operator's Licence
An Operator's licence is required if you wish
to operate Private Hire Vehicles within the
borough. There must be a landline telephone to the office
where the bookings are taken. An Operator's licence is not required
for purely hackney work.
If you are operating from a residential
address you must ensure you have obtained any necessary planning permissions or
other consents.
