Car Boot Sales
Introduction
You may require the benefit of planning
permission should you wish to hold a car boot sale. If it is to be
held on land that forms part of the curtilage of a building, not
just a residential property, planning permission will be required.
Elsewhere, i.e. in an open field, such a temporary use may not need
planning permission. Planning permission may also be required if
you want to continue the car boot sale on more than one occasion in
a year. It is suggested that you contact the Council’s Development
Control Section to discuss any proposals that you may have.
