HGV Operating Centres

The Council receives a Bulletin from the Traffic Commissioner. This Bulletin includes details of new and amended applications for goods vehicle centres in the Traffic Commissioner's area. Where it is deemed necessary, i.e. when the Goods Vehicle Operating Centre would require planning permission but it does not have it, the Council will make representations to Traffic Commissioner. Where necessary the Council may also give evidence at an Traffic Commission inquiry to determine applications for H.G.V. Operating Centres.
