Statutory Register - decision notices (planning and related
applications)
Introduction
The Council is statutorily obliged to maintain a register of all
decisions made on the planning applications (and other permissions
granted under the Planning Acts, such as Listed Buiding Consents,
Conservation Area Consents, Permission for Works to Trees etc.) and
to allow public access to them during office hours.
These contain the decision made (i.e. whether
permission was granted or refused), the reasons for refused
applications and conditions attached to approvals. Where relevant,
they also include any associated agreements under s106 of the
Planning Acts. They are kept at the Council Offices at Nottingham
Road, Melton Mowbray and can be viewed during normal office
hours.
