Development Plan
In order to ensure that planning decisions are rational and
consistent, they must be considered against the Development Plan
and having regard to other material factors. Although the
Development Plan does not have to be rigidly adhered to, it
provides a measure of certainty about what kind of development will
and will not be permitted.
