Viewing Planning Applications and Associated Documents Submitted Since 1 January 2008

The website allows access to view all applications and the associated documents from 2008 to present day.

The full application and associated documents that are submitted with the application can be viewed. Any subsequent amended or requested documents and details are added as and when they are received. When an application is determined, the decision notice is added to the file.

Comments that are received on planning applications are not currently available to view on the website. Should you wish to see any comments received, please contact the case officer, the details of whom can be found within the application details when you carry out a search online.  

For new applications and those submitted since 1st January 2008 please follow the highlighted link. This will allow you to search for applications by a range of criteria, although using the application reference number is the most efficient. This search site will also allow you to search for older applications, but it will not show any of the associated documents.

Alternatively, you can interogate live planning applications through the Leicestershire Villages website by clicking on the link and following the interactive search to the area where the application is. This will link you through to the application, documents and permit you to submit comments.

Planning Applications Submitted Before 2008

We are unable to display the documents relating to planning applications between 1999 and 2008 online. However, the key details of applications for such applications (for example dates of submission and decision, the decision made, the result of any subsequent appeal etc) are available by following the link to Planning application data 1999 - 2008. Viewing Older Planning Applications

Details of planning applications submitted prior to 1999 are held by the Council on microfiche. To view details of applications that were submitted prior to 1999, please contact the Planning Department's Duty Officer on 01664 502427 or email the Planning Department on developmentcontrol@melton.gov.uk to arrange an appointment to view the documents at the Council Offices.
