How to search for planning applications using Public Access

 

There are several ways you can search for planning applications that have been submitted since 2008. These are as follows:

 

Main Planning Application Search;

Planning Application by Property Search;

Planning Applications by Weekly List;

Planning Application Appeal Search;

 

Main Planning Application Search

 

Access the Main Planning Application Search page

 

You can search for a planning application using the search criteria below. You can use as many of these search criteria as you require:

  • Application Reference Number (Text input in the format 02/00001/FUL)
  • Planning Portal Number (Text input)
  • Alternative Reference Number (Text input)
  • Application Type (Select application type input)
  • Application Status (Select status type input)
  • Application Decision (Select decision type input)
  • Application Appeal Status (Select appeal status type)
  • Application Appeal Decision (Select appeal decision type)
  • Applications by Ward (Select Ward type)
  • Applications by Parish (Select Parish type)
  • Applications by Agent 's Name (Select agent name)
  • Date Application Received (Date range - select from date and to date)
  • Date Application Validated (Date range - select from date and to date)
  • Date Actual Committee (Date range - select from date and to date)

Once you have input your search criteria please click on the Search button to display the results of your Planning Application search.

 

Planning Application by Property Search

 

Access the Planning Application by Property Search page

 

You can search for a planning application by searching for a particular property or street using the search criteria below:

 

To search for a particular property please complete the following fields:

  • Property Name/Number (Text input)
  • Property Postcode (Text input)

Once you have completed both fields, click on the Search button to display the property you have searched for.

 

To search for a street please complete the following fields:

  • Street Group (Select the first letter of the street you are searching for)
  • Street Name (Type the street name and select the correct street from the box below) 

Once the street has been selected click on the search button to display the street you have searched for with all the properties on that street displayed.

 

Planning Applications by Weekly List

 

Access the Planning Applications by Weekly List page

 

You can use this search to view all planning applications have been validated or decided by Melton Borough Council during a given week (a maximum of 8 weeks) using the search criteria below:

  • Select a weekly list (Select a week - for example 13/11/2011 to 19/11/2011)
  • Select to view applications that have either been validated or decided during this week

Once the search criteria has been selected please click on the View list button to see the relevant planning applications.

 

Planning Application Appeal Search

 

Access the Planning Application Appeal Search page

 

You can use this to search all planning applications that have appeal cases associated with the application using the search criteria below. You can use as many of these search criteria as you require:

  • Case Reference Number (Text input in the format 02/00001/NONDET)
  • Alternative Reference Number (Text input)
  • Case Appeal Type (Select appeal type)
  • Case Appeal Status (Select case appeal status)
  • Case Appeal Decision (Select appeal decision)
  • Case Appeal by Ward (Select Ward type)
  • Case Appeal by Parish (Select Parish type)
  • Date Case Appeal Lodged (Date range - select from date and to date)
  • Date Case Appeal Validated (Date range - select from date and to date)

Once you have input your search criteria please click on the Search button to display the results of your Planning Application Appeal search.
