Eligibility

This scheme provides assistance to any domestic resident who genuinely cannot move their refuse / recycling / garden waste to the boundary for collection and there is nobody residing in the property that is able to do so.

How do I receive an assisted collection? 

Complete the application form for Assisted Collection. You will receive confirmation as soon as your application has been processed.

Do I qualify for an Assisted Collection? 

If you are unable to take your bins/boxes/bags to your boundary because of age, infirmity, disability (physical or mental), a recent operation or a broken limb and there is no-one else resident in the property able to do so then you will automatically qualify for an assisted collection. You must still complete the form to notify the Council.

Where will the assisted collection take place from? 

The collection takes place from your storage point (specified in your application). Please leave any access gates unlocked on the day of collection.
