In response to the Coronavirus outbreak, we have compiled a range of resources and guidance to ensure businesses are supported and are able to act quickly as the situation unfolds. We are continuously reviewing the latest information and updates will be made regularly on this page.
Government Business Grants
It has been announced that there will be grant support available to aid businesses during the period of new national restrictions in England (starting 5 Nov).
Further information on the eligibility for these grant schemes is provided within the government guidance.
March - Aug 2020
The Business support grant schemes that were developed during the first lockdown period (which started in March 2020) have now closed. These include:
- The Small Business Grants
- Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grants
- The Discretionary Grants scheme

Some businesses may find themselves in the position where they can support the local community. Whether this is access to surplus stock that may otherwise go to waste, the ability to assist those in our rural communities get to appointments or the capacity to undertake basic tasks for vulnerable members of our community; all offers of support are essential in navigating through these challenging times.
