The Council supports Registered Social Landords'(Housing Associations') activity within the Borough either by means of loans and grants or by enabling the transfer of land with residential development potential. The Council also has arrangements with a number of Registered Social Landlords (Housing Associations) whereby applicants can be nominated for vacancies either for rent or on a shared ownership basis.
