Melton housing strategy 2011-2014
The adopted Melton
Housing Strategy 2011-2014 replaces to the 2005-2010
Housing Strategy.
The Melton Housing Strategy 2011-2014 provides strategic
direction for the housing related services the council provide
the community. The strategy has been developed within the context
provided by the Melton Corporate Plan 2010 and its three
corporate priority areas:
- People: supporting those most in need
- Places: better places to live, work and visit
- Well run council: good services that are value for money
The Melton Housing Strategy 2011-2014 takes specific regard
to these corporate areas with its own priorities, these
are:
- Supporting the housing needs of vulnerable groups
- Balancing the local housing market and condition of houses
- Improving housing services
