Coronavirus Council Updates

Organisations offering support

Community Support Schemes

There are a number of community support and good neighbour schemes in place across Melton.

Good neighbour schemes use local volunteers to help people who need assistance with things like shopping, dog walking, gardening and collecting medication.

Many groups within Melton are now offering support for people who are self-isolating or otherwise affected by coronavirus.

Please note: Whilst Melton Borough Council does not govern the community support schemes, it does fully support its communities coming together to help each other at this unprecedented time.  We would, however, still advise that individuals exercise caution when using such schemes and if you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact the council for advice.
