All toilets have full facilities for disabled persons and those with ambulant needs.  A radar key enables access to the disabled toilets outside of the normal opening times

Both toilets are attended during opening hours and a charge of 30p is made for adult use.  No charge is made for children under the age of 16. Baby changing facilities are provided at each site.

The public toilets are often open outside normal opening times when community events such as the Melton Country Fair, Melton Mowbray Show, the Victorian Christmas Fayre and the Christmas lights switch-on take place in the town.

Changing places toilet facilities

People with profound and multiple learning disabilities cannot use standard accessible toilets.   Standard accessible toilets do not provide changing benches or hoists. Most are too small to accommodate more than one person.  Changing Places toilets are different to standard disabled toilets with extra features and more space to meet these needs.
