Leicester and Leicestershire Neighbourhood Planning Toolkit and Networking Events - Leicestershire County Council, working with the 8 local planning authorities of Leicester and Leicestershire, has developed toolkit and protocol to support communities developing Neighbourhood Plans.
Neighbourhood Planning Forum - This site offers a forum and a number of good practice guides for local communities participating in neighbourhood planning.
Royal Town Planning Institute - The RTPI offers a range resources, including the ' Handy Guide to Planning' and ' One page briefings '
Eden Project - The Eden Project are working in partnership with Locality and this website provides a number of resources and case studies.
The Design Council - The Design Council have compiled a number of practice guides, in relation to neighbourhood planning
English Heritage wants to encourage community groups to consider their local heritage and the historic environment's role in neighbourhood planning.
Planning Aid England (PAE) will help communities through the key stages of the Neighbourhood Planning process under the Supporting Communities in Neighbourhood Planning 2013-15 initiative. PAE will work directly with neighbourhood planning groups to provide support, advice and professional input to the plans being prepared by those communities.

The Government has created a new £9.5m fund, plus a programme of support to help local communities produce a neighbourhood. Local communities can apply for direct support from locality.
