Here is some information on the action being taken by Melton Borough Council and partner agencies to prevent and tackle Anti-Social Behaviour in South Melton.

  • Shout4Residents - Engages with local residents to tackle issues and improve the area for local people. In addition it develops activities and events for local residents.  These meetings are held periodically.
  • Local Beat Team: Town South - Your Local Beat Team for the Town South is headed by PC 644 Chris Perry. To speak to him or any member of the beat team please ring the Police non-emergency number 101. 
  • Police: South Melton Beat Surgery - Opportunities for local residents to raise issues with the police and for the police to feed back to local residents.
  • Impact Team - The IMPACT team, a group of Leicestershire County Council funded youth workers, are currently working with young people in your area to tackle Anti-Social Behaviour. If you would like a visit from the IMPACT team to discuss any issues that you are experiencing please ask your customer service adviser.
  • Soccer Scam - A diversionary football session for 8-13 year olds takes place every Monday from 5pm to 6pm and for 14-19 year olds from 6pm to 7pm at the MUGA on Dalby Road.
