Changing details on an existing registration
If guest tattooists are practising at your premises you either need to change your registration details with payment of the fee, of if the guest is operating for fewer than 3 weeks at your premises than you can notify us here.
Tattooists should be using the free Tattooing Toolkit which has been produced in conjunction with the trade and the CIEH. It provides useful information on how to run a safe tattoo parlour and templates for leaflets that can be given to clients on a wide range of related issues.
You will then be visited by a member of Environmental Health to carry out an inspection and discuss how you can abide by the byelaws. All premises and practitioners must be registered with the Council to ensuring they abide by the local byelaws.
A leaflet has been produced which gives consumers and businesses some basic guidance on good standards in microblading studios.
