Review a licence
Licences can be reviewed at any time by either an interested party or a responsible authority but the grounds for review must be relevant to one or more of the four licensing objectives:
- The prevention of crime and disorder
- Public safety
- The prevention of public nuisance; and
- The protection of children from harm
There are many possible outcomes of a review application, the most severe being the revocation of a premise licence or a club premises certificate.
If you wish to apply for a review of a premises or club licence then please complete and return the review form to us. This will be assessed and if valid, a Licensing Committee hearing will be convened to decide the matter, to which you will be invited to attend. You must also send a copy to each of the 'responsible authorities' and the holder of the licence itself.
