Salary: £33,437 to £36,379 per annum
Hours: 37 per week

The role will require the successful candidate to work in all aspects of environmental health, and offers the post-holder the excellent opportunity to use and develop their already broad knowledge of this exciting and influential discipline. As part of the RegulatoryService team you will be responsible for helping to over-see the day-to-day operational and managerial duties, as well as delivering your own work programme.
You will need to hold a degree or diploma in Environmental Health, be registered with the Environmental Health Officers Registration Board, and be sufficiently competent in food hygiene work to be authorised as a food officer; having experience as a lead food officer would be advantageous. The service is responsible for all aspects of environmental health, so a good knowledge in these specialisms would benefit;. You will be expected to have excellent communication skills across all media, be able to effectively manage your workload and have a proven track record of achieving compliance including via statutory action.
