Physical Activity Development Officer - Hollie
Paterson
Hollie joined the team in May 2011, having moved to the area
from Glasgow. She has an honours degree in Physiology & Sports
Science from the University of Glasgow in 2008. Having worked
in the fitness industry for 5 years, working her way up from
fitness coach to gym manager, allowed her to gain valuable
experience in promoting health and fitness.

Physical Activity Development Officer - Beth Turner
Beth is the newest member of the Sports
Team. Beth has recently graduated honours degree from the
Durham University in Sport. Beth has previous work
experience coaching in primary schools and delivering inlusive
sports sessions at Grantham College. Beth also played for the
Durham university womens rugby club and is keen to help the people
of Melton be Active!!

Legacy Maker - Mark Barber
Mark has recently grauated from Loughborough College with a
degree in Applied Sports Science. Mark's aim is to create a
sporting legacy in Melton, encouraging young people to get into
sport and be physically active. Mark is a keen cricket player and
coach, and will be putting his expertise into good use!

Physical Activity Development
Officer- Liz Ashbridge (currently on maternity leave)
Liz joined Melton Borough Council in
December 2007, having previously worked at Loughborough College.
She graduated from Coventry University in 2001 with a degree
in Sports Science and also has an MSc in Physical Activity,
Nutriton and Public Health from the University of Bristol, which
she completed in 2004. She enjoys jogging, snowboarding and going
to the gym.
