Hear the Council agree your Council Tax

Melton Borough Council is continuing to run a trial of recording its Full Council meetings.

The trial will run until April when Councillors will assess the level of public interest in these recordings. Therefore if these recordings are helpful to people, the Council encourages those interested to listen in to help keep the service going.

The audio recordings mean that people can listen to decisions being made and discussions on those matters that are important to them in the comfort of their own home.  

Recent Full Council Meetings include the major financial decisions that affect the running of the Council in the coming year. These are setting the Council Tax (24 February) and agreeing the Council’s budget (10 February).  The recordings for these meetings are now available at
