Opportunity to have your say on how the Council engages with you on planning mattersPublished Tuesday, 9th April 2019
Residents and groups with views on how they would like to be consulted on Planning Policy, Neighbourhood Plans and Planning Applications are invited to take part in a consultation which opens 11 April and runs until 16 May 2019.
Melton Borough Council’s Assistant Director of Planning and Regulatory Services, Jim Worley said: “Local planning activity is undertaken in the public interest, so it is really important that residents have their say on the draft policies that set out when and how they can get involved in the planning process and help shape new developments in the Borough.”
Comments received will help shape Melton Council’s new Statement of Community Involvement, which will set out the Council’s policies on how and when it will engage with the community and stakeholders.
People can respond via the Council’s website https://www.meltonplan.co.uk/sci or can view paper documents and pick up a comment form from Melton or Bottesford Libraries or from the Council offices at Parkside.
