Me and My Learning Open Day on 8th July

We are pleased to inform people that an open day will take place showcasing “Me and My Learning” on Tuesday 8th July at Phoenix House, Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray.


This is will be a great opportunity for those who are seeking employment, who are self-employed or those who would like advice and support to move closer to employment to find out what is available from this exciting new project.

Me & My Learning is a unique project involving local organisations working in Partnership with a multitude of different bodies offering tailored services ranging from:
  • 1-1 casework support
  • Physical and Mental health support
  • Addressing Drug and Alcohol issues
  • Digital Life skills
  • Homelessness / Housing
  • Healthy living
  • Employment Skills
And much more…
Cllr Malise Graham – Lead Member for Skills, Employment & Entrepreneurship has stated:
‘The Partnership has committed to providing a seamless, joined-up service from the Phoenix House “Me and My Learning” hub as well as working with local employers to secure long term growth of the economy and labour force; by enabling unemployed and vulnerable adults to achieve financial, digital and social independence.
Any Melton resident who would like support finding employment, gaining support to move closer to work or want advice on other services, I would encourage them to  come along to the Open Day and find out more about how Me & My Learning can support them’.
People will have the opportunity to speak to organisations in confidence about their needs and the different support services being offered.
