Boost for Melton’s Me and My LearningPublished Tuesday, 2nd December 2014
Melton’s transformational approach to delivering public services has received a boost.
Melton has been successful in the Government’s Transformation Challenge Award 2015-16 bidding process. The success will enable Melton to develop further the Me and My Learning approach that was introduced earlier this year.
Leader of the Council, Cllr Byron Rhodes said:
‘This is good news for Melton. By working closely with individuals Me and My Learning provides a tailored journey to digital, financial and social independence and ultimately a move into sustainable employment. Me and My Learning does this by bringing together a wide range of statutory and voluntary organisations to provide co-ordinated support.’
The successful bid will also enable Melton to continue working with Blaby District Council who will be adopting the Me and My Learning approach from April 2015.
