Residents Action Group Egerton (R.A.G.E)

The R.A.G.E logo

RAGE, (Residents Action Group, Egerton), was first established in 2003 to represent the residents of the Egerton ward.

The group celebrated the success of a new community and Sure Start Children’s Centre, The Cove, that opened in July 2008. This community centre is providing activities for all residents and RAGE hold their meetings there as well as events such as bingo nights. The group work closely with The Grove Primary School, based in Egerton, to communicate with local families and to engage residents.

RAGE organise regular events for the residents of Egerton for a reduced cost. Recent events include; Bingo, cinema trips and family outings to Skegness. RAGE also provides a regular newsletter to all residents in the area.

The next RAGE meeting will be held on Tuesday 25th June 2018 from 7pm in The Cove Community Centre. Doors open at 6.30pm if you want to chat with Melton Borough Council Officers and your local councillors on matters not necessarily linked with the meeting.

RAGE are always looking for new volunteers.  For further information, please contact the Chair Tina Culley on 01664 854622.
