Melton Borough Council aims to ensure that as many pages as
possible on its website conform to the highest levels of the
W3C Web
Accessibility Initiative (WAI) standards on website
accessibility.The Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) develops
strategies, guidelines, and resources to help make the Web
accessible to everyone. Web accessibility means that websites are
designed so that everyone, regardless of disability or levels of
technology can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with
websites effectively. Web accessibility covers many areas,
including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and
neurological disabilities.
