Residents' Parking Zones
Parking Zones are designated to
regulate the use of on-street parking where problems would
otherwise be caused for local residents. Leicestershire County
Council, as the local Highways Authority, regulates on-street
parking.
There is only one parking zone designated in Melton Mowbray, local
to the Melton-Brooksby College campus and the Grove
Primary School. This is a residents' only parking zone
covering Quorn Avenue, Fernie Avenue and Cottesmore Avenue.
Eligible premises also include part of Asfordby Road.
Local residents benefit from a
permit scheme administered by Melton Borough Council on behalf of
the County Highways Authority. Information about the scheme and
application forms are available from Customer Services, or by
clicking on the links below. Residents' Permits cost
£20 per year for the first permit, and then £20 per year
for second and third permits. Visitors' Permits cost £5 for a book
of 10.
