From 1 April 2011, Leicestershire County Council will be taking over responsibility for providing concessionary travel to all Leicestershire residents, this includes managing the new English National Concessionary Travel entitlement. As a result of budget consultations, the Leicestershire County Scheme will be changed from 1st April 2011
