ADVANCE NOTICE OF A TEMPORARY TRAFFIC
REGULATION ORDER
It is anticipated that works will commence on
09/04/2012 and last for 1 week for bridge
replacement works, a Press Release will be issued shortly before
works start to confirm these details. in addition to the
closures there will be a suspension of the 7.5
ton weight limit on Oakham Road Langham, Oakham Road &
Stapleford Road Whissendine.
During the closure of Whissendine
Road, all through-bound traffic will be diverted via
- WHISSENDINE - Stapleford Road; Main Street;
Melton Road
- STAPLEFORD - Whissendine Road; Cuckoo Hill;
Stapleford Road & Vice Versa
During the closure of Cuckoo Hill, all
through-bound traffic will be diverted via
- FREEBY - Cuckoo Hill
- LEESTHORPE - Stapleford Road
- FREEBY - Whissendine Road
- BURTON LAZARS - Melton Road
- MELTON MOWBRAY - Burton Road; Burton Street;
Market Place; Leicester Street; Wilton Street; Norman Way; Saxby

ADVANCE NOTICE OF A TEMPORARY TRAFFIC
REGULATION ORDER
Works are due to take place in Melton Mowbray,
by Seven Trent Water on Sherrard
Street, which will entail the closure of that length of
road whilst inspection cover replacement works are in
progress. It is anticipated that works will commence on
10/04/2012 and last for up to 4 hours between 22:00
& 03:00, a Press Release will be issued shortly
before works start to confirm these details.
During the closure, all through-bound traffic
will be diverted via

- Thorpe End
- B676 – Saxby Road
- Brook Street
- Regent Street
- Mill Street
- Burton Street & Vice Versa

Normanton Road
Bottesford to allow for the level crossing works. It is
anticipated that works will commence on 22/04/12 from 06:00
until 12:00
