ADVANCE NOTICE OF A TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

 

Works are due to take place in Knossington & Cold Overton whilst water main renewal works are in progress.

It is anticipated that works will commence on 04/01/2012 and last for 12 weeks, a Press Release will be issued shortly before works start to confirm these details.  During the closure, all through-bound traffic will be diverted via

 

CLOSURE 1 - SOMERBY ROAD KNOSSINGTON

  • Somerby Road, Main Street, Cold Overton Road
  • Cold Overton - Somerby Road
  • Somerby - Oakham Road, Knossington Road
  • Knossington - Somerby Road & Vice Versa

CLOSURE 2 – SOMERBY ROAD KNOSSINGTON

  • The Carriageway
  • Cold Overton Road
  • Main Street & Vice Versa

CLOSURE 3 - OWSTON ROAD KNOSSINGTON

  • Main Street, Somerby Road 
  • Somerby - Knossington Road, Oakham Road, Owston Road
  • Owston - Somerby Road, Knossington Road

CLOSURE 4 - COLD OVERTON ROAD, MAIN STREET & THE HOLLOW KNOSSINGTON

EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE

 

Pasture Lane Hathern for Carriageway resurfacing works.

The closure is planned for 08/01/2012 for up to 7 days.

During this time no diversion will be available.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

Works are due to take place in Stapleford, by Leicestershire County Council on Whissendine Road, which will entail the closure of that length of road whilst bridge replacement works are in progress.

 

There will also be a suspension of the 7.5 ton weight limit on Oakham Road in Langham Oakham Road & Stapleford Road Whissendine                       

 

The closure is planned from 09/01/2012 and during this time a signed diversion will be set up via

  • WHISSENDINE - Stapleford Road; Main Street; Melton Road
  • STAPLEFORD - Whissendine Road; Cuckoo Hill; Stapleford Road & Vice Versa

ADVANCE NOTICE OF A TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

 

Works are due to take place in Melton Mowbray, by North Midland Construction on behalf of Seventrent Water, on PROW E13a off Sysonby Grange Road, which will entail the closure of that length of the PROW whilst new inlet works are in progress.

 

During the closure, there will be No Diversion Route available It is anticipated that works will commence on 16/01/2012 and last for 12 weeks, a Press Release will be issued shortly before works start to confirm these details.

ADVANCE NOTICE OF A TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

 

Works are due to take place in Wymondham, by Torrent Trackside on Sewstern Road, which will entail the closure of that length of road whilst a safety bridge inspection is in progress.  It is anticipated that works will commence on 18/01/2012 and last for 1 day, a Press Release will be issued shortly before works start to confirm these details.

 

During the closure, all through-bound traffic will be diverted via

  • Sewstern Road (Access as far as Railway Bridge)
  • Road from B676 to Butt Lane
  • Butt Lane
  • Main Street
  • Sewstern Road (Access as far as Railway Bridge) & Vice Versa

ADVANCE NOTICE OF A TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER & TEMPORARY SPEED LIMITS OF 30 MPH & 10 MPH

 

Works are due to take place in Rotherby & Frisby, by Leicestershire County Council on A607 Leicester Road (Temporary Speed Limit 30mph & 10mph) from the A46 slip on west of the Fosse Way Syston to Samways Way Melton Mowbray, which will entail the closure of Rotherby Top & Great Lane South & East, (plan below) whilst resurfacing works are in progress on the A607 Leicester Road.

 

During the closure, all through-bound traffic will be diverted via

  • ROTHERBY TOP ROTHERBY CLOSURE - Main Street; Gaddesby Lane & Vice Versa
  • GREAT LANE SOUTH & EAST CLOSURES -  Great Lane; Main Street; Rotherby Lane; Rotherby Top & Vice Versa

It is anticipated that works will commence on 25/01/2012 and last for 4 weeks, a Press Release will be issued shortly before works start to confirm these details.

ADVANCE NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURES

 

The date below is the earliest that the works may start, however the subsequent press release will stipulate the actual start date. 

 

The closure is due to the carriageway works It is anticipated that works will commence on 30th January 2012 for 2 months.  During the closure of Belvoir Road Bottesford the diversion route will be via

  • BOTTESFORD: A52 - Grantham Road
  • GRANBY: Granby Lane; Granby Hill; Main Street
  • PLUNGER: Granby Lane; Barkstone Lane; Highgate Lane; Long Lane & Vice Versa
