March 2012 Starting Road Works

ADVANCE NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE

 

Leicestershire Highways are due to close Rectory Road Bottesford on behalf of National Gas.  During the closure, the diversion route will be via

  • Station Road
  • Grantham Road & Vice Versa

It is anticipated that works will commence on 12/03/2012 for the duration of 18 days

A Press Release will be issued shortly before works start to confirm these details.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

Belvoir Road Bottesford in the parish of Bottesford.  This road will now be closed until 14th March to allow for extra unexpected works.

 

During this time a signed diversion will be set up via

  • BOTTESFORD - A52-Grantham Road
  • GRANBY - Granby Lane; Granby Hill; Main Street
  • PLUNGER - Granby Lane; Barkstone Lane; Highgate Lane; Long Lane & Vice Versa

NOTICE OF EMERGENCY TEMPORARY

BOTAT CLOSURES FOR MOTOR VEHICLES ONLY

 

BOTATS G9 & G4 Redmile in the parish of Redmile.  The above BOTATS G9 & G4 will be closed for 21 days to allow for Emergency track repairs.

 

The closure is planned from 15th March 2012 for which no Diversion route will be available.

ADVANCE NOTICE OF A TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

 

Works are due to take place in Thorpe Satchville, by Leicestershire County Council on B6047 Great Dalby Road between Church Lane and Klondyke Lane, which will entail the closure of that length of road whilst carriageway resurfacing works are in progress.  There is a specified LGV and High Vehicles Route.  It is anticipated that works will commence on 19/03/2012 and last for 5 days, a Press Release will be issued shortly before works start to confirm these details.

 

During the closure, all through-bound traffic will be diverted via

  • TWYFORD – Leicester Road
  • SOUTH CROXTON – Twyford Road; South Croxton Road
  • BARSBY – South Croxton Road
  • GADDESBY – Ashby Road
  • ASHBY FOLVILLE – Gaddesby Lane; Great Dalby Road
  • GADDESBY – Ashby Folville Road
  • BURTON & DALBY – Ashby Folville Road
  • GREAT DALBY – Station Road; Top End; Main Street & Vice Versa

ADVANCE NOTICE OF A TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

 

Works are due to take place in Nether Broughton by Leicestershire County Council on Old Dalby Lane at 07:00 which will entail the closure of that length of road whilst carriageway resurfacing works are in progress.

 

It is anticipated that works will commence at 07:00 on 19/03/2012 and last for 1day, a Press Release will be issued shortly before works start to confirm these details.

 

During the closure, all through-bound traffic will be diverted via

  • NETHER BROUGHTON - A6006 Nottingham Road
  • WARTNBY - Six Hills Road
  • OLD DALBY - Green Hill
  • NETHER BROUGHTON - Old Dalby Lane & Vice Versa

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

B676 SAXBY ROAD, MELTON MOWBRAY

 

To enable Leicestershire County Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing works it will be necessary to close a length of the B676 Saxby Road near Melton Mowbray on Sunday 25th March, and again on Sunday April 1st.

 

The road will be closed in the vicinity of the junction with Lag Lane, and during the closure the signed alternative route for all through traffic will be via the B676, the A1, the A607, and vice versa.  Light, local traffic will be able to go via Stapleford and the A606 Oakham Road.

 

Lag Lane traffic will be able to use Woodfold Lane and the A607.

 

Please note that these dates are subject to the weather being favourable so may be subject to change, but actual dates will be displayed on signs erected on site.

 

Our Contractors have been asked to make every effort to reopen the road as soon as possible to minimize any inconvenience caused by the works.

Leicester Road Melton Mowbray in the parish of Melton

The above Road will be closed for two evenings/nights to allow for carriageway resurfacing works

The closure is planned for 29 & 30 March between 18:00 and 00:01 on both days

 

During the closure of A607 Leicester Road Melton Mowbray, the diversion route will be via

  • LEICESTER ROAD CLOSURE (BETWEEN EDENDALE ROAD JUNCTION & AMBLESIDE  WAY JUNCTION) - A 607 Leicester Road; A 607 Wilton Road; A 6006 Asfordby Road
  • ASFORDBY HILL - A 6006 Melton Road
  • ASFORDBY VALLEY - A 6006 Melton Road; A 6006 Main Road
  • ASFORDBY - A 6006 Bypass Road; A 6006 Loughborough Road
  • GRIMSTON - A 6006 Loughborough Road
  • OLD DALBY - B676 Six Hills Road; A46 Fosseway Southbound/Northbound
  • SYSTON - Syston Northern Bypass
  • QUENIBOROUGH - A607 Rearsby Bypass
  • REARSBY - A607 Bypass
  • BROOKSBY - Melton Road
