Pet Friendly Town
Pet Friendly Town is an award given by the Dog Friendly awards.
Melton Mowbray won this award in 2017. It means that the town has many places of businesses that allow for pet dogs to go inside.
We worked alongside Mars Petcare to ensure the town was pet friendly. You can watch the Mars Campaign video at the link at the bottom of this page.
Where are the Pet friendly businesses
We have also launched a 'Paw-some scheme' to help local pet owners easily find pet friendly businesses where their animals are welcome.
The scheme involves using a sticker to let people know they can bring their four-legged friends into the business.
