About the role

We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic local government lawyer. We have a vacancy for a litigator who will play a pivotal role in advising, claiming and defending claims on behalf of the Council as well as getting involved in lots of areas of local government law.

About you

We are looking for a local government lawyer (Solicitor or Barrister or a Graduate or a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives) with a litigation focus who has demonstrable experience of working across all areas particularly contentious work which includes housing (including debts and disrepair), Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB), licensing, environmental crime (including planning) and judicial reviews. If you are driven, self-motivated and able to work independently you will fit into our team perfectly and play an integral part of the team’s development.
