Melton Lifeline

Melton Lifeline is a 24-hour lifeline alarm service that we provided. The service aims to not only help you maintain your independence, but to also provide you comfort in the knowledge that a member of our team will be on hand to answer your alarm call whenever you need them.

Who can apply?

Melton Lifeline is open to all residents of Melton Borough who feel they may benefit from the service, regardless of their age or needs.

How does it work?

When you subscribe to our service, a lifeline unit with a panic button will be provided for your home. You will also be given a pendant to wear on either your wrist or on a cord around your neck, allowing you to feel safe around your home.

Responding to an alarm

In the event that either one of your buttons are pressed, your lifeline unit will automatically call our control centre, immediately connecting you to a member of our team whatever the time of day or night.

We can contact your family and friends immediately after your alarm has been triggered (providing you have given us these details), ensuring that you get the right help as quickly as possible.

In an emergency, our team will also be able to alert the emergency services.
