Pre-election period

In the period leading up to any election, local or national, we, the Council must remain politically neutral. This means we cannot say or do anything that could be interpreted as supporting any political party. For this reason, please avoid posting party political messages or promotional material on our social media channels. Any such posts will be removed. During this time, we may also restrict the ability to comment on our posts – this is to help ensure our social media pages remain compliant with the regulations.
