You will need to tell us if:
- You are moving into the Melton area
- You are moving out of the Melton area
- You are moving within the Melton area
- If the whole household is moving out
- If the number of people living in the household is changing

Please sign up for a My Account and register for Council Tax or Log in if you are already signed up
When you move home you may not be liable for the Council Tax on your old home, but will become responsible for the Council Tax on your new home. You should let us know as soon as possible so that we can adjust your bill.
Number of people living in the household is changing
If someone is moving in or out of the household you need to inform us. You will need to speak to our Customer Services by either calling 01664 502 502, by emailing contactus@melton.gov.uk or by completing the contact form at the bottom of this page.
