There are no Borough Council elections taking place in Melton this year. This is because councillors are elected every four years, with the most recent elections held in May 2023.
Our next scheduled Borough Council elections are due in May 2027, unless a by‑election is required.
Business Improvement District (BID) Ballot Renewal 2021
A ballot for the renewal of the Melton Business Improvement District (BID) took place on 28 October 2021.
The vote was a postal ballot, which took place over a 4-week period. Eligible businesses in Melton Mowbray voted in favour of the proposals set out and to renew the BID for another 5 years.
